VA Water Seal belongs to the V-ring axial sealing series, specially engineered to shield rotating machinery from severe environmental pollution including water spray, mud, dust and abrasive particles. It is sleeved directly onto the shaft and rotates alongside the shaft, with its lip staying tightly pressed against a static end face to form an outer protective barrier. Compared with ordinary V-rings, the exclusive VA cross-section profile boasts stronger adaptability. It performs stably even on shafts with relatively rough surface finish and equipment exposed to heavy dirt, mud and water. The V Ring VA is an all-rubber axial face-type sealing component without metal frame or garter spring. Its profile includes a flexible conical sealing lip, intermediate transition section and rigid mounting base. The mounting base fits tightly onto the shaft for fixed positioning. The tilted conical lip presses axially against the end face of housing to form sealing contact. Under centrifugal force during rotation, the lip fits more closely to the mating surface for enhanced dust-proof and splash-proof performance. The whole one-piece rubber structure avoids metal-rubber delamination risk.
